Donna J. Pettit Parsons, 81, Rogersville, passed away Friday, May 30, 2025, at Copper Rock Healthcare, Rogersville.

She was born March 11, 1944 in Seymour, Missouri the daughter of the late Clarence and Alice (Williams) Hyde. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, William Roger Pettit; two sisters, Marjorie Huffman and Dorothy Jean Huffman; four brothers, Ottis, Dwayne, and Frank Huffman, and Billy Ishiam.

Donna was a psychopathic nurse before becoming an employee healthcare nurse for 29 years with St. John's Hospital in Springfield. She loved her job and helping others. She and her husband Roger ran a dairy for many years in Rogersville and enjoyed going to music jams and bluegrass festivals. She loved her church Anutt Full Gospel Mission Church in Edgar Springs, Missouri. She had a kind and giving soul and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by two sons, Gary Pettit and wife Tanya, Scott Pettit and wife Ammie; a daughter, Crystal Berry and husband Ron; three brothers, Kenny Hyde and wife Carol, Linnie Hyde and wife Donna, and Jack Hyde and wife Karen; a sister-in-law, Carol Ishiam; three grandchildren, Laci Morrison, Cassidy Pettit, and Kat Pettit; a great-granddaughter, Eliza Pettit; a very close friend, Sue Ann Grier; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Dogwood Cemetery, Dogwood, Missouri under the direction of J.D. Lee and Sons Funeral Home, Rogersville
