Benson, NC: Mr. Douglas Steele Langdon, Jr., age 72, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Liberty Commons Nursing & Rehab in Benson, NC. A Memorial Service will be held 3:00PM-Monday, May 12, 2025 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Rev. Glenn McCullen will officiate.
Mr. Langdon was born on May 5, 1953 in Harnett County, to the late Douglas Steele Langdon, Sr., and Dorothy Beasley Langdon. Mr. Langdon was a retired farmer and sheet rocker. He also worked with Hodge Logistics in Benson, NC. Mr. Langdon loved to hunt, work, and play golf. However, most of all he loved his family especially his grandsons.
Surviving include his wife of 20 years, Wanda Godwin Langdon, step-son, Joey Barefoot and wife, Heather; grandsons, Braxton Barefoot, and Trevor Barefoot; brother, Randy Langdon; aunt, Shirley Parrish; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends following the memorial service, and other times at the home.
The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers.
