Baldwinville - Edward (Ted) N. Harrington, 76, of Baldwinville, died Monday, April 21, at Gardner Rehab.
Edward was born on June 5, 1948 in Leominster, Massachusetts, son of the late Nelson and Anna (Mahan) Harrington.He was Product Line Manager/Safety Technician for numerous companies in the Leominster area. He was a member of St. Mark's Church, and an usher who greeted you with a smile when you came into the church. He was a life time member of the fraternal order of the Eagles #477 of the Leominster chapter.
He enjoyed playing pool, cribbage and meeting new friends. He enjoyed going to see shows at Theater of the Mount and the entertainment at Monument Park in Gardner. Family was everything to him, especially camping trips with Cheryl and the kids. He enjoyed spending quality time with his grandchildren. He supported them at sporting events, Girl Scout activities, or any school activities they were part of.
Edward was predeceased by his wife Cheryl (Anthony) Harrington. He leaves his children, Robert R. Harrington, Scott A. Rickert and wife Janice, Cynthia L. (Fletcher) Demar and husband Scott, Brian E. Harrington and Amy S. (Harrington) Maguy and husband Denis; his grandchildren, Matthew Demar, Alexander Fletcher, Nicholas Harrington, Kristyn Gordon, Mellisa Maguy and William Maguy; his sibling Jean (Harrington) Gagne, and several nieces and nephews.
Edward was predeceased by his brothers John Harrington in 2012 and David Harrington in 2024.
His family would like to thank Dr. Kate M. Daniello, MD, Neurologist, Umass Memorial Health for diagnosing his Myasthenia Gravis and giving him excellent care.
Calling hours are Friday, May 16, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West St., Leominster. The funeral will be held Saturday, May 17, at 10 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, 115 Mt. Elam Road, Fitchburg.
