Frances Marilyn (Miller) Cadle, age 88, of Hardinsburg, IN, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on June 19, 2025.
Fran was born on May 10, 1937, in Greenville, IN, to Charles and Olive (Boston) Miller. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth and love touched all who knew her. In 1952, she married the love of her life, Paul E. "Sonny" Cadle Jr. The couple shared 61 wonderful years together and made their home in Hardinsburg, IN.
A homemaker for many years, Fran later worked outside the home in factory manufacturing. She was known for her strong work ethic and her unwavering dedication to her family. She was a longtime member of the Greenville Methodist Church and later became a faithful attendee of the Hardinsburg Christian Church, where she could be found every Sunday morning.
Fran enjoyed the simple joys of life: reading a good book, hunting for treasures at yard sales, playing Bingo, and spending precious time with her friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul; her parents; her son, Tommy Cadle; daughter, Paulette Cadle; sisters, Kathleen Brock, Bonnie Arnold, Patricia Bullington, and Rebecca Puskas; and brothers, Jack Miller, Bobby "Skip" Miller, and Charles "Bud" Miller.
Fran is survived by her son, Tim (Tammy) Cadle; daughter, Patricia Westfall; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren-each of whom she cherished dearly.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville, IN.
