Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Hattie Walker; brothers, Jerry Walker and Cecil Walker; and sister, Dorothy Loy.
He is survived by his wife, Teri Walker; son, Bryant Walker; daughter, Jennifer (Reid) McLaughlin; sister-in-law, Lavonda Walker; brother-in-law, Donald Bryant; granddaughters, Juliette and Hollis McLaughlin; and nephews, Danny Walker, Mike Walker, Kenny Loy, Junior Loy, Ray Loy, and Gary Walker.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Bridges Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 PM, with Rev. Ronnie Dotson and Dr. Wayne Ownby officiating. Family and friends will process from Bridges Funeral Home at 10:30 AM on Friday, June 13 in route to Greenwood Cemetery for an 11:00 AM Graveside Service.
Pallbearers: Kenny Loy, Dustin Walker, Reid McLaughlin, Danny Rowe, Danny Walker and Mike Walker.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gerald's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org or Mission of Hope www.missionofhope.org.
