Geraldine was a mother, grandmother, and Gigi; foremost and was passionate about spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed the outdoors and tending to her flower garden. She also enjoyed reading, needle point, and puzzles. She served as a member of the Infant of Prague Guild at St. Martin of Tours and participated with friends of the Red Hats Society.
Preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Matthew Sherepita; son Edward Sherepita; and brother Joseph Pasuit.
Geraldine is survived by her children Valerie (Michael) Canterbury, John (Kathleen) Sherepita, Serena Sherepita (Jim Underwood, Fiancée), and Joseph Sherepita; grandchildren Derek Sherepita, Matthew Sherepita, Kyle Sherepita, Mikayla (Kyle) Dickel, Nathan (Mikayla) Canterbury, Aeryal (Austin) Priebe, Nevin Sherepita, Andrew Sherepita, Nicholas Sherepita, and Logan Sherepita; great-grandchildren Bennett Dickel, Corwyn Dickel, and "Little Bean" Canterbury arriving in October 2025; daughter-in-law Marci Sherepita; sister-in-law Dolores Pasuit; and former daughter-in-law Nancy Sherepita.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick, OH 44212. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Martin of Tours Catholic Church on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Geraldine will be laid to rest alongside her husband in St. Martin of Tours Cemetery.
