Jackie leaves behind her husband Gary Johnson of 58 years from Crossnore, NC, her three daughters Cherie Johnson, Kari Johnson-Dean (of Newland, NC), and Angela Nohrn (of Boerne, TX) and two adopted children Kristi Adams and Delane Tomlinson (of Greenwood, SC). She also leaves behind multiple grandchildren: Joshua Lewis, Michael Lewis, Austin Lewis, Nate Lewis, Linsey Nohrn, Saddie Nohrn, Taylor Nohrn, and Clay Adams. She also leaves behind 5 great grandchildren: Jackson Lewis, Lily Lewis, Raelyn Lewis, Ava Lewis, and Braxton Lewis.
Jackie loved to work with kids, and she was a retired teacher for over 20 years. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Amorem Hospice of Boone, NC and Sahara Norris of Blowing Rock, NC.
We will be having a small service and a Celebration of Life on Saturday May 10, 2025, at 1pm. The location will be at our farm 1546 Chestnut Dale Road, Newland, NC 28657.
