I was fortunate to know Janet through our church. She was absolutely delightful. She loved the Lord and enjoyed serving Him. She also was a dog lover and fostered various dogs in her home. Her heart was open to people and dogs. Praying that the Lord will comfort her family and encourage them in the knowledge that she is with the Lord she loved.

Janet and I had so many wonderful adventures-from the bright lights of Las Vegas and the sandy shores of Myrtle Beach to a lively twelve-day island cruise. We squeezed in weekend escapes to Atlantic City, Smithville, and Brigantine (shopping binges were mandatory!), and delighted in museums and aquariums along the way. Our final trip to Pittsford, New York-thoughtfully arranged by Diane-included cozy breakfasts, strolls along the Erie Canal, and a boat tour (it was really something watching the canal function as the water levels were changed to continue the voyage) One evening Josh treated us to a delicious homemade dinner, and Janet´s family welcomed me like one of their own. I´ll always treasure these memories and miss her cheerful spirit.
