Graveside services for Jerry Roach, 83, of Wills Point, TX, are scheduled for 12:00 Noon on Monday, June 2, 2025, at White Rose Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home.
Jerry passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025, in Wills Point.
Jerry Lynn Roach was born on May 29, 1942, in Paris, TX, to L.B. and Myrtle Roach. He was raised in Paris, where he attended school. On June 11, 1960, he married Dona Wilson in Madill, OK, and they lived in Mesquite, TX. Jerry worked for St. Joe Paper Co. for about 40 years, serving as superintendent before retiring.
He was raised attending a Pentecostal church and later identified with the Baptist faith. Jerry loved spending time outdoors, especially gardening and fishing, two of his favorite pastimes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, L.B. and Myrtle Roach, and his sister, Becky Roach.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of nearly 65 years, Dona Roach of Wills Point, TX; sons, Don Roach and wife Julie of Wills Point, and Greg Roach and wife Shelley, also of Wills Point; brothers, Chris Roach and wife Kim of Blossom, TX, and Danny Roach and wife Linda of Blossom, TX; sisters, Jane Chotes of Kentucky, Debra Jones and husband Travis of Paris, TX, and Margie Dozier and husband Dexter of Paris, TX; and his cherished grandchildren, Matthew Roach, Ashley Edwards, Christopher Roach, and BreAnna Roach.
