John Walter Golden II, 68, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on January 18, 2025. Born on September 20, 1956, in Little Rock, John was the son of the late John Golden and Margaret Golden.

John was a proud union man, who worked tirelessly at A.O. Smith Fiberglass factory for 44 years as well as on the family cattle farm. John dedicated many years to the Ferndale Volunteer Fire Department. Later in life, he found camaraderie at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9095, where he was an Auxiliary Lifetime Member. John was a devoted father and grandfather. He was always there for his family, whether it was a hunting or fishing trip or attending a sporting event. 

John is survived by his mother, Margaret Golden; his sister, Anne (Steve) Campbell; his son, Graham Golden; his daughter, Cortney (Tom) Kennedy; and three grandchildren, Haley Golden, Johnny Golden, and Wyatt Cato.

A celebration of his life will be held at VFW Post 9095, 1121 Gamble Road, Little Rock, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Warrior Bonfire Program.
