John C. Kiley of Henrietta, New York passed away surrounded by his family on June 19, 2025 at the age of 81. He was born in Ontario, Canada and later moved to Henrietta, NY where he raised his family. John was a dedicated father who valued honesty, hard work and love of family. He was a friend to many and was always willing to lend others a helping hand.
John was masterful at building and rebuilding lawnmowers and small machines and took pride in any challenge he took on. He enjoyed learning about history, working in his garage, spending time with his grand dog, maintaining his meticulous lawn and driving his truck.
He is predeceased by his wife, Caroline E. Kiley; sister, Joan Hooper; and brother, Cecil Garrett. John is survived by his children, John (Laura) Kiley, Lorri Anne Bussenger and Dawn Marie Pell; grandchildren, Jonathan (Kathryn) Bussenger, Nathan and Carson Pell, Maddux and Gavin Kiley; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Alexander and Christopher Bussenger; companion, Sheila Bradford; siblings, Dale (Wendy) Kiley, Donald (Penny) Kiley, Jim (Nora) Kiley, Kathy (Don) Ingram, Ronald Kiley, Gale Kiley, Mary (Al) Wadden and Kevin (Cathy) Kiley; many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, 3325 Winton Road S., Sunday, June 22, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. John's Funeral Service will be held Monday, 10:00 AM at the Interfaith Chapel of Miller Funeral and Cremation Services. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
