With heavy hearts yet joyous spirits, we celebrate the life of John R. Robers, who passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 74. John was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, known for his vibrant passion for life and his undying love for his family. He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Dorothy (nee Lewis) Carter, and his devoted parents, John V. and Jeanne A. (nee Burgess) Robers.
John's legacy will live on through his loving siblings: Janice (Tom) Nieman, Judy (late Gus) Melchion, Karen Oeters, Jeff (Nancy) Robers, Kathi (Mike) Knueven, Larry (Marianne Dames) Robers, Glenn (Barb) Robers, Eric (Marti) Robers, Chris (Carolyn) Robers, and Shelli (Doug) Newell, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will forever cherish his memory.
John's passions were as diverse as they were profound. He embraced the wonders of robotics, nurtured a love for horses, strummed his guitar with joy, and reveled in the beauty of the great outdoors-often found at the shooting range, perfecting his target skills. His adventurous spirit and unusual sense of humor will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
In honor of John's remarkable life and the many joyful moments he created, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Lakeridge Conference Room, 7118 Pippin Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45239, on Friday, June 13th, from 4 PM to 7 PM.
Friends and family are invited to come together to share memories, laughter, and love in remembrance of John. Special condolences may be expressed at frederickfh.com. Let us honor John's vibrant spirit, and may his memory inspire us always.
