Jose Vega Obituary

Jose Mario Vega entered this world on January 6, 1940, in Michoacn, Mexico, and peacefully passed away on April 6, 2025, at his home in Madera, California, at the age of 85.
Mario was a hardworking and dedicated man who spent over 70 years of his life in the masonry trade. He took great pride in his work and left behind a legacy built with his own hands. Outside of work, he found joy in lifes simple pleasuresfishing, hunting, storytelling, music, dancing, and, most importantly, spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Anita Vega, and his children: Jose Vega Juarez, Maria De Los Angeles Vega Juarez, Maria Cecilia Vega Juarez, Maria Elsa Vega Juarez, Jesus Mario Vega Juarez, Isela Vega Juarez, Elsa Monica Vega, Olga Noemi Vega-Terry, Miguel Cabrera, Neiro Cabrera, Lizette Ybarra, and Maryanne McMurtry. He also leaves behind 34 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense pride and joy.
Mario was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Maria Vega of Madera, and his beloved son Emilio Vega Juarez of Mexicali.
Marios passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His warmth, strength, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends will never be forgotten. Whether it was through his kind acts, words of wisdom, or calm presence during lifes toughest moments, Mario left a lasting impact on everyone around him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
