Joseph Henry Williams, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on August 5, 1949, Joseph lived a life full of love, dedication, and passion.
A proud veteran of the United States Army, Joseph served his country with honor and carried that sense of duty and integrity throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Linda Williams, with whom he shared many wonderful years.
Joseph was an avid gun collector and took great pride in making his own ammunition. His love for the outdoors was evident in his flourishing gardens, where his green thumb worked wonders. He also had a deep affection for his dogs, who were constant companions and brought him much joy.
He is survived by his loving children: Sandra Jones (Eric), Donald Campbell (Connie), Lucinda Costlow (Chris), Susanne Cole (Jeff), Katrina Rosas, and Taia Williams. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Patrick Jones, Erica Burton, Megan Carpenter (Josh), Joseph Campbell (Candace), Chelsea Greene (Justin), Gabe Cole, Victoria Wilkinson (Brian), Derreck Campbell, Ashleigh Green, Noah Campbell, Christian Stansell (Kate), Chandler Costlow, and Cody Stansell. Joseph was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Nevaeh, Emilie, Harlie, Lindsey, Nicole, Phillip, Axel, Kolson, Bentlee, Jaden, Emma, and Amelia.
He is also survived by his sister, Joyce Porter, and his brother, Richard Carnes (Johnnie), who will miss him dearly.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, March 1, 2025. The family will receive visitors from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory. A graveside service will follow at 2 o'clock at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
Joseph Henry Williams will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his dedication to his hobbies, and the warmth he brought into the lives of those around him. He will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew him.
