Judith Ann Potter
Funeral Mass for Judith A. "Judy" (nee Mulhall) Potter, 84, of Euclid, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 19951 Lakeshore Blvd., Euclid.

Judy passed away Friday, June 27, 2025, at Vitalia of Mentor.

She was born Dec. 24, 1940, in Cleveland.

Judy graduated from Euclid High School in 1958 and it was there she met the love of her life, Dennis. She and Dennis were married in 1962 and went on to have seven children, twenty-seven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Her daughters often refer to Dennis and Judy's life together as the "greatest love story ever told."

Judy loved to garden and the feel of the warm earth in her hands. She could turn any corner of a yard or patch of dirt into a picture of humble beauty. She loved golden retrievers, Kentucky horse farms and horse racing. She loved Cape Cod, and the Atlantic Ocean. Judy loved being Irish and never stopped wanting to go back to Ireland "one more time."

Judy's handwriting was impeccable, and she had an unending fondness for writing and journaling about her life and the people she loved. Her devotion to the Catholic Church and the Virgin Mary was unwavering. Judy never stopped praying for people and families she knew to be facing hurt or sickness.

Judy's love for her grandchildren radiated. She had an inborn quality that would bring any crying baby to an adoring gaze. The theme of her life was love for her family and her eyes never stopped telling them so.

She was the beloved wife of Dennis M. Potter; loving mother of Colleen (Carl) Kozlowski, Peggy (Mike) Eicher, Erin Potter, Tommy Potter, Mary (Neil) Gallagher, Michael (Kate) Potter and Kevin (Jeni) Potter; cherished grandmother of Mary Katherine (Andy) Cirino, Michaela (T.J.) Reagan, Kerry (Ray) Brown, Katie (Marty) Gostich, Maria (Joe) Dubick, Kara (Danny) Knight, Tommy (Molly) Kozlowski, Meggie (Daniel) Gallagher, Danny Potter, Brendan (Lisa) Gallagher, Tommy (Shelbie) Gallagher, Kevin Kozlowski, Liam Potter, Anthony (Nicole) DeCarlo, Erin Gallagher, Kathleen DeCarlo, Annie Potter (Dylan), Timmy Gallagher, Thomas DeCarlo, Erin Potter, Maggie Potter, Audrey Potter, Bridget Potter, Timothy Potter, Aidan Potter, Mary Potter, Caleb Potter and Mae Potter; and great-grandmother of Olivia, Emma, Ava, Andrew, Terrence, Elle, Nora, Fiona, Hattie, Liam, Vivian, Bo, Wren, Louise, Rory, Edie and Clara; sister of Margie (Jim) Corcoran, Patty (John) Gibbons, Tom (Kathy) Mulhall, Jack (Nancy) Mulhall, Katie (Gary) Fee and Mike (Debbie) Mulhall; and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas E. and Ula V. Mulhall; brother, Daniel Mulhall; and sisters-in-law, Debbie Mulhall and Doris Mulhall.

Family will receive friends 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Rt. 615, N. of Rt. 2), Mentor. Burial to follow the Mass at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
