Judy Nelson Obituary

Langsville Robert Holliday. Her home for a few years, was on her Grandparents Dexter, Ohio farm.

With the families move to Wooster, Ohio, she got a good start in grade school. With their return to the Dexter farm she would always consider there "Home".

She is preceded in death by her stepson Jason Nelson and a niece Ashley Holliday.

She is survived by her husband Dana Joe Nelson, a sister in law Sherry (Sam) Darst, brothers Gary (Renee) Holliday and Floyd (Connie) Holliday.

Judy was a helpmate to her husband while they built their home in Salisbury Maryland.

She held several retail jobs while enjoying designing and working in her flower garden and

bringing into her home some family antiques. She always wanted to hear the stories of

family history and traditions. She was talented in many areas. Her quilts are beautiful with fine, small stitches. She was an artistic painter and crafter. She volunteered at Assateague Island to plant sea grass on the beach. She loved the warm sunshine and

soothing ocean breezes of the beach and being in a boat with Joe while crabbing.

Another highlight in Salisbury was "Plow Days" when she got to drive a team of horses

to plow, by herself. Back in Ohio she sewed a long dress costume to participate in the Morgan Raiders program.

A Graveside Service will be held March 28, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. in Standish Cemetery, Dexter, Ohio.
