Katherine was born on August 19, 1963 in Philadelphia, to Owen and Nancy (Rice) McFadden. She graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School in 1981 and later from Holy Family College with a degree in Philosophy. She enjoyed making jewelry, taking walks around the neighborhood parks including exploring the unbeaten paths in Pennypack and debating any and all topics for as long as possible. Her goal to always think outside of established definitives and challenge the norm.
Katherine is survived by her many siblings, Jim McFadden (Barbara), Bill McFadden, Jack McFadden (Bobbi), Frank McFadden (Carolyn), Marianne McFadden Seifert (Tom), Mike McFadden, Tim McFadden, Pat McFadden (Amelia) and Beth McFadden Schilke (James). She also is survived by 11 nieces and nephews, and 4 great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date by the family. Contributions can be made in Katherine's memory to the US National Park Service.
