Better known as "Kathy" to her friends, she was born on June 23, 1945 in Hamilton, Ohio to Yugoslavian immigrant parents, the late Victor Erdeman and Julia Schmidt. Kathy's warm and bubbly personality served her well in establishing a successful career in real estate. After marrying, and raising two daughters, Kellie and Debbie, she moved to the Baltimore-DC area and continued to build on her real estate career until retiring to her cherished NC mountains, first in Asheville, then to Lake Junaluska, NC. Among Kathy's passions were scuba diving, traveling, and hiking in her NC mountains.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Ed Jones, and a daughter, Debbie Keller of Parkville, MD.
A private service will be held by the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Haywood County Dementia and Palliative Care of Waynesville, NC.
