Kenneth Friend Obituary
Kenneth R. Friend, age 71, of Mogadore, passed away on May 23, 2025. He was born in Akron, OH on July 28, 1953 raised by his mother Lydia and graduated from Ellet High School. He was a owner and operator of Ellet Radiator where he worked for 40 years. He was a dedicated father and grandfather. Ken was adventurous and enjoyed off roading and racing cars.
Kenneth is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Kurt and Lindsey Friend; grandchildren Sofia and Payton; significant other of 30 years Linda Winkler and her children John (Elizabeth) Winkler, Kim (Jason) Penticoff, Patricia (James) Lemley; and faithful dog Mazie.
Visitation will be held Monday June 2nd from 5PM to 7 PM and 1/2 hour hour prior to services Tuesday June 3rd (10AM-10:30AM) at Newcomer Funeral Home. Services begin Tuesday June 3rd at 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
