Larry Richard Moore

Larry Richard Moore, age 77, of Hillsboro passed away unexpectedly on February 12, 2025 at his home. Larry was born the son of the late Fredrick Moore and Sylvia (Hakes) Thomas on March 7, 1947 in Washington Court House. Larry worked hard as a self-employed painter. His favorite pastime was going to the American Legion and VFW and spending time with his friends there. He also enjoyed watching football games and mushroom hunting. Larry absolutely loved his grandchildren! He is survived by his children, Ashley (Mike) Kim and John Moore both of Chillicothe; nine grandchildren, Bailee (Kyle) McDowell, Ryleigh Nichols, Branson Nichols, Dalton Nichols, Dylan Campbell, Ava Hivner, Addilynn Kim, Izabella Moore, and Harper Moore; two great grandchildren, Sawyer and Deliah McDowell; siblings, Shirley (Ron) Streff of Savannah, TN and twin brother, Gary (Darlene) Moore of Pricetown; and lots of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Moore and infant brother, John Moore. A gathering of friends will take place on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 2:00pm until time of memorial service at 4:00pm at Turner Funeral Home in Leesburg.
