Six of us got to know Linda in an online "lectio poetica" group that was started during Covid and continues to regularly meet. Our format of gathering, reading a poem, journaling and then sharing our writing was always a favorite and special time. Being together online over several years, we all quickly grew to love and appreciate one another deeply. Linda blessed us with how she shared herself, her beautiful and moving words and her friends. She will be forever missed - and we will continue on remembering her fondly in our reading poetry, journaling and sharing!

Pat and I were incredibly sad to learn of Linda's passing. She was one of the kindest, most giving and grounded people I have ever known. Her parenting workshop and the friendship that grew from that impacted our family and my involvement in the community in countless ways. I know that is true for MANY other people who interacted with Linda. Truly, hers was a life well lived! Pat and I send our condolences to Dave and the entire family.

to Maria and family, I worked with your Mother at the Family Resource Center while teaching " Becoming A Family." Her obit beautifully captured her vigor , commitment and love for her family and work. She was such a dedicated contributor to every endeavor she accepted. Blessed Be. I am so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. We were in the same Sunday School class with her and Dave in South Charleston, new parents, and our children played together. Linda and I led a Girl Scout troop together at Upton Creek for several years-so many fond memories. We last enjoyed her and Dave's hospitality at their beautiful farm home in Ripley. I wish we'd known that they had moved to Greensboro, close enough to visit from Cary. My sincere condolences to you all.

Heartfelt sympathy and wishes for peace of heart during this difficult time. We wish you comfort in all your wonderful memories of Linda. She was such a loving, caring and compassionate person, someone you couldn´t help but love to be around.
My husband and I first met Linda at CAMC where she supported us during the illness of our baby 40 years ago, and remained a friend through my workplace in psychiatry. Linda will remain as a special memory to my husband and me.
Prayers for the family.

I certainly count myself among the "countless teenagers" who found a haven in Linda´s presence so many years ago. She listened and cared, and seems to get such a kick out of all of us! I send Maria and all the Cooper family much love and care as you grieve the loss and celebrate the life of Linda. Much love, Ellen

When I think about my Aunt Babe I think of warmth. All my memories with her I remember being surrounded a strength and loving spirit. I also think of her laugh and the importance of a sense of humor through life. I spent half a summer at the farm in West Virginia and cherish the memory of witnessing the birth of a donkey with her and uncle Dave. As I grow older, I find her kind and intelligent approach to the world and humanity a source of continuing inspiration, she was and is a great role model.
My love and deepest condolences to the Yunis and Cooper family,

I am so saddened by Linda´s passing. I know she had a wonderful life; helping so many people in so many different ways. I don´t believe I would be alive today without her council, care and compassion when I was a teenager. I needed her so much during that time in my life and she was always there for me, even in the most challenging of times. I will never forget all that she did for me and will miss her always. I just wanted you all to know that I think of her and all of you often.
With much love and compassion-

I remember Linda as being kind to all. She had a presence that made you feel like you were the most important person to her at that moment. She was energetic, optimistic, creative, intelligent and a woman with a strong faith in God. I knew Linda as a nursing director, co-worker at CAMC in WV and fellow church attendee at First Presbyterian Church. As a OB Clinical Nurse Specialist she was an inspiration to my own nursing career as an example of how to compassionately care for my patients. I will always remember and loved how her eyes would sparkle when she smiled. I am very sorry for the loss of her family and close friends. I pray you will find hope and comfort in the legacy she has left. Sharon, Denver, CO.
