Buck drove milk truck for Lake to Lake for many years, and then worked for Steve Schenian Trucking, Francis Creek. After retirement, he worked part time at Bumper to Bumper, Manitowoc. He also volunteered at Manitowoc Lutheran High School transporting students from Kiel to the high school.
Buck was a life-long member of St. John Lutheran Church, in Maribel, where he served as an elder. He was a Federation delegate for Manitowoc Lutheran High School. He belonged to the Francis Creek Sportsman's Club. Buck enjoyed following his favorite sports teams: the Badgers, Brewers, and the Packers; watching NASCAR and stock car racing especially at the 141 Speedway; and playing sheepshead. Mostly he enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends.
Buck is survived by his sister, Lois (Larry) Schneider, 2 nephews: Todd (Holly) Schneider, Slinger, and TJ (Kelly) Schneider, Manitowoc; 1 great nephew, Bradley Schneider; and 4 great nieces: Jordan Schneider, Sydney (Aaron) Shafranski, Payton (fiancé Kyle) Schneider, Brenna (Wyatt) Ellis; and cousins, and friends.
