After moving to Arizona to be close to her mother, she worked for the Education Department of Boswell Hospital in Sun City, AZ, retiring with the department as a conference coordinator.
Margaret enjoyed traveling, taking cruises to warm climates, camping, and reading. She most enjoyed spending time with family-especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Those that remain to cherish Margaret's memory are her sons, Mark Cross (Nancy), Michael Cross; daughters, DeAnne Nigus (Bill), Colleen "Corky" Schrier; sister-in-law, Betty Maddex; grandchildren, Patrick Cross (Jennifer), Rachel Cross, Caitlin Cross, Keith Nigus (Jena), Jordan Nigus (Sammi), Mara Dowling (Justin); great grandchildren, Owen, Prudence, Breckan, Jericho, Elias, Jameson, and Peyton, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
