Marianne Lilly, age 69, of Kent, OH, passed away Monday August 18th after a short battle with cancer at Anna Maria in Aurora.
Marianne was born November 22nd, 1955 to the late Joseph and Josephine Minerovic in Cleveland, Ohio.
She spent her working years in numerous positions for the Kent City School district and retired from her role in the treasurer’s department at the Kent Board of Education. She was an amazing cook and poured her heart into perfecting her baking. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her would agree she was the most selfless, loving, present woman they’d ever met. Fulfilling her roles as wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, etc. were what made her days complete.
Marianne was proceeded in death by her parents and leaves behind her loving husband of 48 years Jeff; daughter, Jessica; son, Brandon (Tara); grandchildren, Tyler, Austin, Gianna; and also siblings, Kathy Rutherford (David), Joe Minerovic (Denise), Gloria Foradori (Dan), Charlie Minerovic (Marla), and Jimmy Minerovic.
Family and friends may call Friday, August 22nd at Bissler and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240, from 4:00-6:00 PM followed by a memorial service conducted by Pastor Mark Lile of Christ Community Chapel.
