It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marilyn Gordon, who left us on February 28, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on November 19, 1941, Marilyn was a vibrant spirit who filled our lives with joy and warmth.
A beloved member of the Robinson Presbyterian Church, Marilyn found great joy in singing with the choir and creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone around her. Her home was often the gathering place for family and friends, where Sunday dinners were a cherished ritual. Whether it was sharing laughter over a meal or hosting lively parties, she always had a knack for bringing people together.
Marilyn's love for life extended beyond her home. She delighted in vacations at the beach and in the mountains, and she had a passion for the arts-enjoying plays, operas, ballets, and horse shows. Her adventurous spirit and appreciation for culture enriched her life and the lives of those around her.
Marilyn is survived by her loving sons, Rick Gordon, Scott Gordon, and Greg Gordon (Jennifer); grandchildren, Alexus, Savannah, and Brady Gordon, all who was a constant source of pride and joy for her.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Gordon; parents, Ralph Gordon and Mary Harris; brothers, Donnie Huffstetler and Neil Huffstetler.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Robinson Presbyterian Church, Saturday, March 15, 2025, 2:00 PM, where we will celebrate Marilyn's amazing life surrounded by all who loved her. We will share heartfelt stories, music, and laughter-just as she would have wanted. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Rest in peace, Marilyn. You will be so deeply missed but fondly remembered for the light you brought into so many lives.
