Martha "Marti" J. Moore (Balo), of Newark, Ohio, was a deeply loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27th, at 7:36 p.m.
Marti’s middle name, Joy, perfectly reflected the way she lived her life and how she is remembered by so many. Her joyful spirit uplifted everyone around her, and she brought warmth, laughter, and love to her family and friends.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—tending her garden with hummingbirds nearby, sharing her gift for baking, and spending time with her playful dog, Waylon. Yet her greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Frank P. Moore III; her daughters, Heather Box and Debra High; and her cherished grandchildren, Braxton High, Merrick Box, and Carter Box.
Marti also held a deep love for her surviving siblings: George Balo, Ronnie Balo, David Balo, Sandra Gorgio, Dale Balo, and Melanie Allen. She now joins in rest her loving parents, Walter and Violet Balo, along with her siblings Carl Balo, Walt Balo, and Dana Balo, who preceded her in death.
In keeping with Marti and Frank’s wishes, no services will be held at this time. They will be laid to rest together in the future, with a joint service to be planned at a later date.
