Mary Frances Dupuy, born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday February 25, 2025, at the age of 78.
She was the wife of the late James Lynwood Dupuy for 40 years and was preceded in death by her parents Chester and Sadie Jacob, and her sister Viola Dupuy. Beloved mother to Sammy Ragusa (Janice) and Tommy Ragusa and step-children David Dupuy, James "Jim" Dupuy (Gale), Wayne Dupuy, Deanne Conravey (Evan), Janine Dupuy; grandchildren Brandi Harvey (Shane), Samantha Jarreau (Chase), Antonio Ragusa (Shelby); step-grandchildren; and great grandchildren Bryleigh, Cannon, Brooklyn, Corbyn, Bristol, Maverick, and Maddox. Sister to Patrica Terrell (late Gordon). Also, preceded in death by Sambo, Nicki, and Nitro (dogs) that she loved and cared for. Mary was active in life with her love for playing youth sports (All-Metro softball player of the year), coaching sports, spending time with family and traveling. Spent many years working at the NHRA events throughout the country making lifelong friends coast to coast. Her outgoing and friendly personality is one thing all that have known Mary remember. She loved the beach and sun. While our hearts hurt as we say goodbye to Mary, knowing she is at peace brings comfort.
