Mary Jeane Snedeker Miller, 87, of Moundsville, WV, passed away peacefully on July 7,2025.
Born in Wheeling, WV, December 6,1937, she was the youngest daughter of William Lawrence Snedeker and Mary Jane Jewell Snedeker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothea Ann Oref (Wallace) and Roberta Lee Shockey (Phillip).
She is survived by the father of their children, Ronald Frank Miller; a brother, James Lawrence Snedeker; a son, James Ronald Miller (Donna); daughters, Susan Lynn Richmond (Rick), Betsy Jeane Kilgour (Jeffrey), and Jennifer Ann Riggio (Robert); grandchildren, Emily, Matthew, Garrett, Katie, Ryan, Ashleigh, Alexander, and Andrew; and great-grandchildren Nathaniel, Lincoln, and Emma.
Jeane graduated from Wheeling High School in 1955 and was an x-ray technician at the OVMC. She enjoyed raising her family, and loved gardening, sewing, quilting, spinning and weaving, and sheep-to-shawl events with her friends. She attended Stone Church Presbyterian and was a member of Way Memorial Spiritual Church.
A family graveside service will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wheeling.
Memorial contributions may be made to Liza's Place at Valley Hospice.
