Mary Smidt Davis has gone to her Heavenly home July 11, 2025.

Mary was born September 28, 1931, in Longview, Texas, to Jacob Arthur Smelley and Frances Elizabeth Blaylock Smelley.

Mary worked for Brants Insurance Agency and attended First Christian Church in Granbury Texas. She was affiliated with Port Ridglea Women's Club and enjoyed reading a good book, sewing and cooking for family and friends.

Mary is welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Jake and Fannie Smelley; husbands, Murrah Moore, Bill Smidt, Hilton Davis; son, Mike Smidt.

Those left to cherish and remember Mary are her daughters, Tracie Keen, Denise Sutphin; son, Roy Smidt and wife Venessa; bonus children, Patricia Pelina, Jana Bramlett, Leif Davis, Lin Davis; grandchildren, Lex Keen Jr. and Nicole, Julie Poyner and Duke, Kristi and Richard, Aaron and Laurian, Kathryn Hester, Charly Smidt, Colt Sutphin, Cade Sutphin; 21 great-grandchildren, nephew, Jon Hollowell; as well as many more family and friends too numerous to name.
