Patricia Daugherty, whose family is from Ireland, was born on October 7, 1943. She was the 3rd born of 6 children to Maurice John Galema and Margaret Lucille Klotz. She was proud of growing up in the Irvington area and enjoyed many of their local festivities.
Patricia wedded her beloved spouse, Curtis Daugherty, on October 10, 1964. She worked as an interior designer for many years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and sister, Sharon.
She was a strong supporter of pet rescue. She was also active in the Indy Dog & Disc Club. She enjoyed competing in club competitions with her black lab, Rocky, also known as the “Labranator”. Her dog, Darla, and cat, Pepper, are currently part of her circle of best friends.
She was a race walker and competed and placed in her division in several races. One of her favorite races was a marathon in Dublin, Ireland.
She and Curtis also loved to camp. McCormick’s Creek State Park was her favorite place.

Visitation will be held at Flanner Buchanan - Washington Park East (10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229) from 12 pm - 2 pm on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, with funeral services following at 2 pm. Entombment will be at Washington Park East Cemetery.
