Patrick Jeremy Murray

Patrick Jeremy Murray, a dedicated soldier, beloved brother, son, grandson, uncle, and friend to many, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. A Chief Warrant Officer 4 and Blackhawk pilot in the United States Army, Patrick served with honor and bravery through multiple tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, embodying a profound commitment to his country.
Born to Jamie Lee Maistros and Kum Hyun Pae, Patrick grew up with a fierce determination and a passion for life. A standout athlete, he excelled as a state high school wrestler, showcasing the discipline and resilience that would define his military career. His love for adventure led him to travel the world, with a particular fondness for exploring Europe, where he embraced new cultures and experiences with an open heart. He is survived by his siblings, Jennifer Maistros, Jesse (Laura) Kingery, Lindsey Kingery, Jake Maistros, and Matthew Maistros; grandmother, Linda Will; stepmother, Sharon Maistros; aunts, Amy Bluso and Brandy Linn Maistros; uncles, Michael A. Maistros and Darrell (Nicole) Maistros; cousins, Amanda (Marc) Manocchio and David (Lindsey) Bluso and his niece and nephew, Aubrey and Preston Kingery.
Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Jamie Lee Maistros; mother, Kum Hyun Pae; brother, Michael Paul Maistros; and grandfather, Michael Maistros. His warmth, courage, and infectious enthusiasm for life will live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.
Visitation hours will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1st at Murphy Funeral Home, 95 S. Franklin St., Chagrin Falls, OH 44022. A burial ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2nd in the Memorial Chapel at Crown Hill Cemetery, 8592 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH 44087
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Hattie Larlham, the residence of Patrick's beloved sister Jennifer, whom he cared for deeply and held close to his heart.
