Peggy Martha Crawford, 72, of Granbury, Texas, passed away peacefully in her home on February 17, 2025. Peggy was a woman of warmth, joy, and deep love for her family, friends, and her community. She had a vibrant spirit and a passion for life, always finding ways to bring comfort and happiness to those around her. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Terry Crawford, and a proud mother to her daughter, Carrielee Derbin. Peggy was also a cherished grandmother to Joshua Doty, Jared Doty, Jazil Doty, and Skyler Westfall, and a doting great-grandmother to Amelia Doty, Zoey Burk, Bryce Burk, Belimy Doty, Octavia Doty, Silas Westfall, Kash Garcia, and Sophia Garcia. Peggy's love for life was reflected in the many things she adored. She had a deep appreciation for travel, always eager to explore new places and embrace new experiences. Her love for cooking and baking brought joy to all who gathered around her table, where she was known for creating the most delicious meals and desserts. Peggy also had a special connection with the mountains, finding peace in their beauty and serenity. Her faith was central to her life, and she was an active member of her church, where she formed lasting bonds with others who shared her love for community and service. Additionally, Peggy had an endearing affection for moose, a quirky fondness that never failed to bring a smile to those who knew her. Her loyal dog, Maggie, was also a constant companion, bringing Peggy comfort and love throughout her life. Peggy will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her. Her kindness, generosity, and the light she brought into the world will never be forgotten. A celebration of Peggy's life will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Granbury Cemetery. As per her wishes, the family kindly asks that all attendees wear light colors to honor her spirit.
