O B I T U A R Y
Peggy Sue Edwards Thompson of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of Gelois Wheeler Edwards of Greensburg and the late Arlin Parrish Edwards, was born on Tuesday, March 27, 1962 in Adair County and departed this life on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at TJ Samson Hospital in Glasgow. She was 63 years and 20 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ in her younger years at Bethlehem Baptist Church. She worked at Cox Cabinet but worked in Childcare at TLC and at her home most of her career.
Besides her mother, she is also survived by four sons and daughters-in-law: Allen and Anna Ray, Michael and Emily Ray, Chris and Anna Ray, Anthony and Candace Curry all of Greensburg; 13 grandchildren: Sydney Kean, Cody Ray, Nathan Ray, Jackson Ray, Jensen Ray, Harper Ray, Kenzie Ray, Brooklyn Ray, Zaelynn Ray, Ryker Ray, Kennedy Ray, Kadence Ray, Wade Drexel Curry; one great-grandchild and one on the way; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Carolyn and Freddie Whitlow, Buffy and Mark Jessie, Donna Edwards; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Arlin and Melissa Edwards, Bobby Edwards; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Besides her father, she was also preceded in death by a sister: Annie Edwards and one granddaughter: Lydia Ray.

The funeral service for Peggy Sue Edwards Thompson will be conducted at 1 P.M., Central Time, Saturday, April 19, 2025 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Bro. James Walker officiating.
Visitation is requested after 9 A.M., Central Time, Saturday at the funeral home until time of the service.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Bethlehem Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
