Robert Joseph Boland of Foristell, Missouri, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Sharon A. Boland; cherished son of Alfred and Viola Boland; devoted father of Kimberly (Richard) Mount, Robert (Kathrine) Boland, II, Wendy (Fred) Hudgens, Christopher Boland, Marla (Scott) Gertken, and Drew (Sheila) Boland; loving grandfather of 15; soon to be loving great-grandfather; dear brother of Martin "Marty" (Diana) Boland, Stephen (Charlotte) Boland, Michael (Sandi) Boland, and Lori (the late Scott) Pogrelis; dear brother to the late Thomas (Sandy) Boland, the late Don Boland, the late David Boland, the late Mary (the late Ronald) Jackson, and Margaret (the late Ron) Boland.

Robert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran, a skilled mechanic with UPS, and a dedicated member of the Machinist Union. His strong work ethic and quiet dedication were hallmarks of a life well lived. A man of deep faith, Robert was an active and longtime member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Wentzville. He also participated in the St. Charles Jaycee’s, always giving back to his community with generosity and service.

Robert found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He had a deep love for the outdoors, especially fishing and spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks; his favorite getaway, where countless memories were made aboard the family pontoon. He had a passion for auctions, garage sales, and swap meets, always on the hunt for hidden treasures.

Known for his playful sense of humor and unique expressions, Robert coined countless “Bob-bleisms”, words and sayings that brought laughter and stuck with everyone who knew him. He had a special way of making others feel seen, loved, and welcomed.

Above all, Robert cherished his family. He was married to his beloved wife Sherry for 62 beautiful years. Together, they built a life full of love and legacy. A wonderful father and grandfather, Robert’s greatest pride and joy was his family, whom he supported and loved unconditionally.

Robert was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Memorials may be made in Robert's name to St. Vincent dePaul.
