Robert Walker Obituary

Robert W. Walker, 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 26, 2025. He was born in East Syracuse to the late William and Elizabeth (Brady) Walker.
Mr. Walker proudly served 4 years in the Navy. For 36 years, he was an Operating Engineer at Onondaga County's Dept. of Facilities Management, D.H.&C plant.
He served on the board of directors for Adirondack Mountain Club, Iroquois Chapter Trout Unlimited, Mohawk Valley Sled Dog Club and was Eastwood Republican Club president.
Dearest to him was photography. He was a member of the National Press Photographers Association and a Canon Professional Services member.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rosemary Clark Walker; three sons: Sean (Julie Ann), Craig (Karen Russo), and Daniel (Melissa O'Brien); grandchildren, Louis, Michael, Matthew, Kendall, Emma, Destan, Elise, Allison, and Alexis, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Richard, Gregory, Joseph Brady, and Barbara Brady. Services with military honors were held on Friday, May 30th at Fergerson Funeral Home, 215 South Main Street, North Syracuse. Donations go to Clear Path for Veterans or NAVAC.
