Ronald Ray Clark
Age 85, of National City, Michigan died at My Michigan Medical Center Tawas on April 4, 2025 in Tawas City, Michigan. He was born the son of Chester and Daisy (Jones) Clark on April 13, 1939 in Terre Haute, Indiana. Ronald graduated from Farmington Hills High School class of 1957. After graduation he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for three years. After his faithful service to our country, he began his long career as a Police Officer for the City of Livonia until his retirement. Ronald enjoyed fishing, motorcycling and loved a "good burger", his favorite being a Whopper from Burger King and any bar burger and relaxing to the sounds of Big Band Music in the background. His greatest pride was building plastic model airplanes with his best friend Gary Hart and they are now proudly on display at our local Veteran's counselor's office in Tawas City. Ronald is survived by his daughters, Terrie Clark and Suzanne (Claude Jr.) Collyer; two grandchildren; Matthew Bettis (Alysha Burgess) and Michelle (Don) Gingerich; four great grandchildren; Livia, Liliana, Wesley and Leroy. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Paula. Per his wishes he will be cremated and his remains will be buried with his wife Paula at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. Ronald was very thankful for the help and friends he made through the local Iosco Veteran's Office and to Ron Whitney for his support. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the Iosco County Veteran's Office 671 E. M 55 Tawas City, Michigan 48763. Condolences may be shared at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com
