In Loving Memory of
Roy Sanchez
August 7, 1990 – August 18, 2025
Age 35 | Dallas, Texas
With deep sorrow and infinite love, we announce the passing of Roy Sanchez, who left this world far too soon on August 18, 2025, at the age of 35. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Roy lived a life filled with joy, passion, laughter, and unwavering devotion to the people he loved.
A Life Full of Love
From an early age, Roy was surrounded by the love of family and friends who quickly came to admire his joyful spirit and magnetic personality. As a child, he found happiness on the soccer field-a love that later blossomed into a passion for softball. Whether competing or coaching, Roy's playful spirit, determination, and love of the game brought people together and created lasting bonds.
Family Above All
Roy's heart belonged to his family. He shared a deep and abiding love with his wife, Gabriela Rangel Sanchez, with whom he built a beautiful life centered on love, laughter, and partnership. Together, they created a home that radiated warmth and joy.
He was a proud and devoted father to his three daughters:
• Roselynn Danielle Sanchez (11)
• Avianna Gabriela Sanchez (10)
• Niyah Ellani Sanchez (2)
Roy found his greatest happiness in fatherhood-whether playing with his girls, coaching their softball teams, or simply being their biggest cheerleader. Every moment spent with his daughters was precious to him, and his love will continue to guide them for the rest of their lives.
He is also survived by his loving parents, Aaron Sanchez and Maria Micaela Sanchez; his brother, Aron Sanchez Jr.; and his sister, Maria Patricia Treviño. A cherished uncle, coach, and friend, Roy touched countless lives with his boundless heart and generous spirit.
A Professional and a Pillar
Roy pursued a meaningful career in finance as a credit analyst, earning the admiration of his colleagues for his diligence, professionalism, and unwavering integrity. His positive outlook and genuine kindness made a lasting impression on those he worked with, many of whom became lifelong friends.
A Heart for the Community
Roy's dedication extended beyond his work and home. As a youth softball coach, he gave his time, energy, and heart to uplift and empower young athletes. He was more than a coach-he was a mentor and role model who believed in the power of joy, teamwork, and perseverance. His legacy lives on in every child he encouraged and every team he led with love.
Anchored in Faith
Roy's deep and enduring faith in God was the foundation of his life. He carried his spirituality in his heart and shared it freely with others, drawing strength from his beliefs and offering that strength to those around him. His life was a reflection of grace, humility, and love.
A Spirit That Will Never Fade
Roy will forever be remembered for his infectious laugh, his spontaneous dance moves, his storytelling, and his ability to light up a room. He was wild at heart and lived life with an authenticity that inspired everyone who knew him. Above all, he gave his love freely and without condition-a gift that will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
