It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra Ann Harrison, 81, who left us on January 18, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born August 2, 1943, in Somerville, MA, the youngest of 5 siblings.
When she was 11 years old she moved with her parents Felix and Lena Meoli to Gardena, CA. She graduated from Gardena High School, then attended Cosmetology School. She was a Hairdresser for 61 years. In 1987 she moved to Wildomar, CA. When she moved to Wildomar she started country western dancing and traveling with her sister Sybil. She continued working in the Temecula area. She was very well loved by all of her customers. She used to enjoy opening all of her Christmas gifts she would receive every year. She was old school until she stopped working in 2017, doing all the rollers and back combs that the younger generation was unable to do. She enjoyed going to work to see her co-workers who she considered part of her family. She enjoyed her weekly and sometimes daily phone calls from her friends Helen and Brenda. She was a great joke teller as well, delivering the punch line at the perfect time. She loved her grandchildren Erika, Mario, Daniel and Cassandra. They have great memories of swimming, eating, going to the movies, going miniature golfing and feeding the ducks at Pat and Oscars.
Sandra will be remembered as an incredible mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was also the family matriarch to our large extended family. She had an incredible ability to bring joy to others, even in the most difficult times. Her kindness, sense of humor, and caring nature will be missed by all who knew her.
Sandra is survived by her daughters Cari and Lisa (Mario), grandchildren Erika (Ralph), Mario (Caytlyn), Daniel, Cassandra (Javon), her great grandchildren Hudson, Shane, Jettlyn, Nash and Noelle. She is preceded in death by her mother Lena, father Felix, sisters Greta, Louise, Sybil and brother Norman.
