May 21, 1940 - January 28, 2025.
Sarah M. Kelly passed away peacefully at home on January 28, 2025. Sarah was born in East Liverpool, Ohio and moved to California with her loving husband William Kelly in 1963 and resided in Antioch. Sarah was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. Sarah Is survived by her Four children, Tammy Sibbitt (Paul), William Kelly, Terrie Mercado, Patrick Kelly (Debra), sister Martha Moore, grandsons Scott Sibbitt and Eric Kelly, granddaughters Jennifer Gutierrez and Christine Schneer (Mike), great granddaughter Francesca Gutierrez, and great grandson Aiden Schneer. Sarah was preceded in death by her loving husband William and two of her sisters and brother. Sarah worked for the telephone company for 30 years. After retiring she was a volunteer at the Antioch Police department and had a part-time job at the Antioch Unified School District. Sarah was a member of the Antioch Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with her friends, family, and church community. She also enjoyed swimming, sewing, and volunteering. She contributed countless hours working on the annual community Christmas dinner and making dresses for underprivileged children around the world. She also enjoyed traveling in California and other states.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday February 3, 2025, at Higgins Funeral Home in Antioch. Visitation begins at 11:00 AM and the funeral services will be held from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Sarah, please visit our floral store.
