Sherre Lynn George, of Mechanicsville, Maryland, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025, at the age of 69.

Born on November 13, 1955, to Robert and Evelyn Moore, Sherre lived a life marked by compassion, dedication, and love. A longtime resident of Mechanicsville for the past 38 years, she built a home and a life full of warmth and kindness in the community she cherished.

Sherre married the love of her life, Dean George, on August 21, 1977. Together, they shared decades of memories, laughter, and unwavering support for each other.

Professionally, Sherre served as a nurse practitioner-a role that perfectly suited her caring nature and lifelong desire to help others. Her patients and colleagues knew her not only for her clinical expertise but for her empathy and the deep respect she showed to everyone in her care.

Outside of work, Sherre was an avid sports fan. She loved cheering on her beloved Baltimore Ravens and Orioles, rarely missing a game. Her home was often filled with team colors and a sense of game-day excitement. She also had a deep affection for Golden Retrievers, whose loyal and loving spirit mirrored her own. An avid boater and fisherwoman, she once logged a thousand miles on the bay in one year.

Sherre will be deeply missed by her husband, her cousin Tracy, and many others. Per her wishes, no services will be held. Sherre's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
