Sue Anne Henderson Martin, age 76, of Fredericksburg passed on to be with the Lord on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Carriage Hill Nursing Home.
Sue worked as a CNA for many years and was a member of the White Oak ladies auxiliary for 10 years. She was an avid lover of the outdoors, enjoying many memorable trips camping, traveling, and spending time surrounded by nature. She had a special fondness for cookouts, often gathering friends and family for moments of joy and connection.
Survivors include her husband, James Michael Martin; and siblings I. Jerry Henderson and Travis Alexandria Henderson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin Franklin Henderson and Nelly Margaret (Williams) Henderson; and siblings Everette Franklin Henderson and Vernell Paige Henderson Tuennermann.
A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Fletcher's Chapel United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Fletcher's Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Troy Henderson, Curtis Garnett, Collin Garnett, Tom McCoy, Tony Henderson, and Bernard Graninger.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fletcher's Chapel Cemetery Fund, 9223 Bloomsbury Rd., King George, VA 22485.
