DOUGLASS
Teri Marie Douglass, 60, of South Charleston, lost her short, yet valiantly fought battle with cancer on Monday, February 3, 2025, in the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, with her family by her side.
Born September 7, 1964, in Columbus, she was a daughter of Wilbur Gerald Evans and Carolyn (Michalis) Evans. A graduate of London High School, Teri had worked in the bakery of Kroger where she met many friends who quickly became family to her. One of her favorite pastimes included reading, especially any new romance novels she could find, those were always her favorite! Above all, Teri was a dedicated mother and grandmother who loved her family most of all.
Following her passing, Teri leaves a lasting act of love behind as she was able to restore the gift of sight for others through being an eye and corneal donor.
Left to cherish her memory include her two beloved daughters: Jennifer (Jacob) Iams and Ann Douglass; grandchildren: Aaden Iams, Sophia Iams, Calvin Douglass, Corrin Douglass, and Carter Toles; sister Jeri Lee McDaniel, brother Guy Evans; niece and nephews: Corey Gartin, Cortney Garrett, and Corbin Conwell.
Teri was preceded in death by her parents; nephews Dalton Conwell and Dylan Conwell; brother-in-law Daryl Conwell.
A celebration to honor her life will be held in the near future.
The EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140, is honored to be caring for the Douglass family during this difficult time. Condolences are encouraged to be shared online at www.eberlefisherfuneralhome.com.
