Thomas John Reed, age 82, of Fredericksburg, Texas, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and deep connection. Born in Baytown, Texas, Tommy graduated from Robert E. Lee High School before spending 42 years as a dedicated union plumber and certified medical gas professional. He was a man of integrity and skill, respected in his trade and cherished by those who knew him. For 62 years, he shared a joyful and adventurous marriage with his wife, Patricia Mullins Reed. Together, they found happiness in nature, camping across the country and treasuring memories from their final journey to Bryce and Zion National Parks. Tommy's gift for conversation and ability to make lasting friendships was unmatched. His kindness and warmth touched many lives and will not be forgotten. He is lovingly remembered by Patricia, his brother Roy of Liberty, Texas, and sister-in-law Jean Murray of Como, Texas.

Ernest R. Sandiford

April 9, 2025

Ernest Sandiford here, I have know Tommy and Patty for over 50 years. Living in the Houston area we became great friends. Lots of bay fishing and fish fry. He was always such a respectful person. Was a Forman for several years until he retired and moved to Fredricburg. Patty also is such a wonderful person. He is now with Jesus and his heavenly family. May our Lord and your family give you strength to get through your loss of Tommy. I have often thought about you two over the years and the good times we all had together. Have always Loved you guys. Ernie.
