Tito Homero Gonzalez, age 65, of Lewisville, TX, passed away on June 14, 2025,surrounded by his loving family.

Tito was born October 17, 1959, in Hereford, TX, the son of Crisoforo Gonzalez and Maria del Rosario Trevino.

Tito graduated from High School in 1976, then went on to College, earning a bachelor’s in theology.

Tito married Mary Molina on June 2, 1979, in Edinburg, TX with Manuel Vallejo officiating. Tito met Mary at church, where a simple friendship blossomed into a lifelong love. Their bond was built on a solid faith in Jesus Christ, and a deep appreciation for each other. Together, they built a warm and loving home, creating a legacy of joy, devotion, and strength that touched everyone around them.

Tito worked as a Pastor at New Life Fellowship in Tulsa, OK, Templo Elim in Corpus Christi, TX, and Primera Iglesia in Dallas, TX. He founded the Spanishministry at First Assembly in Fort Myers, FL under the direction of Pastor Dan Betzer. Tito’s faith was the foundation of his life and the heart of his calling. As a beloved pastor, he led with humility, conviction, and  deep compassion. His ministry extended far beyond the pulpit—he shepherded his congregation not just through words, but through his steady presence, quiet strength, and servant’s heart.

He lived his faith through action: offering a helping hand without being asked, standing beside others in both joy and sorrow, and embodying God’s love in the way he treated everyone around him. His leadership was rooted in grace, and his legacy is one of unwavering devotion, kindness, and a life lived in service to Christ.

Outside the church, Tito found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He cherished his quiet moments reading Scripture, casting a line while fishing, or sharing his wisdom with family, friends, and anyone who sought his counsel. He especially lit up around his grandchildren, delighting in their laughter, listening with care, and always making time for them. He was most at peace with a grill going, the yard full of family, the smell of barbecue in the air, and the sounds of love all around him. These were the moments that defined Tito—faithful, present, and full of heart.

Remaining to cherish Tito’s memory are spouse of 46 years, Mary; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Shannon, daughter, Leah, daughter and son-in-law, Chelsea and Jonathan, and daughter and son-in-law, Audrey and Gary; grandchildren, Claire, Lucy, Annie, Atticus, Ava, Emmie, Maddie, and Olivia.

Preceding Tito in death are parents, Crisoforo and Maria del Rosario Gonzalez.

Visitation will be held June 21, 2025 at 2 pm at Primera Iglesia 3775 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75229. Memorial services will be held June 21, 2025 at 3 pm at Primera Iglesia 3775 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75229, with Chris Gonzalez officiating.
