Tommy "Tom" Joe Bennett, age 89 of Butler, Missouri died Sunday, May 11, 2025 at Lee's Summit Medical Center in Lee's Summit, Missouri. He was born January 3, 1936 to Orville M. and Elsie Blue Bennett in Nevada, Missouri.
Tom is survived by his wife, Patricia "Pat" Glee Bennett of Butler, Missouri; three sons, Jason Wade Bennett and wife Diana of Butler, Missouri, Darwin Ward Bennett and wife Pamela of Iola, Kansas and Derrek Todd Bennett and wife LaRenia of Butler, Missouri; two daughters, Reena Melinda Hicks and husband Anthony of Butler, Missouri and Amber Cassandra Christiansen and husband Raylun of Archie, Missouri; two brothers, Buddy Bennett of Grain Valley, Missouri and David Bennett and wife Tana of Texas; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Wanda and Louise; three brothers, Jim, Richard and Bill; and a grandson, Michael Lee Grant.
