Vickie Sue Dial, age 72, of Atlanta, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at her residence.
She was born in Anderson on June 18, 1951, to the late Warren and Marilyn (Dobson) Belt. On January 10, 1970, she married Steven Allen Dial and they shared 46 years of marriage.
Vickie was a homemaker and loved caring for her children and family. She loved animals, gardening, and bird watching, especially hummingbirds. In her your, Vickie enjoyed roller skating and that is where she met the love of her life. Vickie and Steven were both skating at Rainbow Roller Rink in Noblesville when they met one another, and the rest they say is history.
Vickie is survived by her Children, Lonnie (Amy) Dial of Atlanta, IN, and Donna Dial of Tipton, IN; grandchildren, Rachelle (Riley) Davidson, Michael Dial, Alyssa (Dylan) Chilton, Treyton Trent, Dakota Dial, Blake Dial, Dustin Dial, Alexus Dial, Zayne Dial, and Jesse Bowers; 8 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Pearl Belt of Indianapolis, IN, and Barbara Murdock of Anderson, IN; and several nieces & nephews.
Vickie was preceded in death by her Parents Warren & Marilyn Belt; and her Husband, Steven Allen Dial.
The family has chosen cremation and has entrusted Hartley Funeral Homes with Vickie's care.
