Viola was born on December 10, 1929, in St. Aubert, Missouri. She was the youngest of five children.
Viola Miller, 95 years of age, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025.
Viola professed her life to Jesus Christ at an early age. Viola and her family moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where she attended school and worked. Viola married the love of her life, Lester Miller Sr., in March 1948, and one child, Lester Miller Jr., was born from this union. She was a devoted member of her church, Central Christian Church in Kansas City. She loved working in the church and cherished praising the Lord. She served in several committees, always enjoyed helping others in and out of her church community for many years, until her health prevented her from serving.
Viola loved reading her Bible, listening to church music and sermons, and praying for and with others; she was a devoted Christian of Jesus Christ. She always exuded God's love through her beautiful smile, kind words, and affection. She was a loving, caring, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, relative, and friend. She always thought of others first before herself; "To know her was to love her."
Although her family and friends will greatly miss her, we find comfort in knowing she is now resting with her husband of 77 years and in the arms of Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for the prayers, support, and kindness you have shown to us before, during, and after the passing of our beloved, Viola Miller. Your comforting words, presence, and love have been a great source of strength for us in this difficult time. We are deeply grateful for your support and the warmth you have shared with our family.
Viola is survived by her son Lester Jr. (Juanita) Miller and Family
