Wilann Heinrich LaFoe, 72, passed away on June 10, 2025 at her family home in Yukon, Oklahoma. Surrounded by her loving family.
Wilann was born January 30, 1953, in El Reno, OK. She was a 1972 El Reno High School graduate. On March 2, 1973, She married Mike LaFoe, and together they built a big, beautiful family. She's survived by her husband of 52 years, Mike; her children Karri LaFoe, Kris LaFoe, Andy & Laurie LaFoe, and Kody & Sarah LaFoe, and her grandchildren Brody, Braden, and Brogan Lancaster; Riley Ross; Chloe and Scout LaFoe; and Kord, Kolt, Kal, and Kollyns LaFoe. She also had the joy of being a great-grandma to Lincoln Ross.
Wilann was one of four siblings and leaves behind Phillip Heinrich, Henry Heinrich, and Heidi Gambill.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Will Roy & Betty Ann Heinrich (Hubbard).
Wilann wore a lot of hats throughout her life - homemaker, office manager, dairy milk tester, rural route postal carrier, and she spent time working at OKC West Livestock Market. No matter what the job was, she gave it her all.
She had a deep love for the outdoors and a true passion for animals, especially horses. She took pride in being a horseman and was just as comfortable in a saddle as she was behind a sewing machine or the wheel of a hay wagon. She could do a little bit of everything, and she did it all with grit, heart, and humor.
Wilann was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church in El Reno, where her faith stayed strong through every chapter of her life.
She'll be remembered for her fierce love for her family, her work ethic, and her contagious laugh. She was the heart of her family, and her absence will be deeply felt.
Services will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church in El Reno, with burial to follow at the El Reno Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Russell-Murray Hospice or Trinity Lutheran Church.
