With deep sadness and hopeful hearts anchored in Christ, we announce the passing of William Leroy Williams, who entered into eternal rest on June 24, 2025, in Arlington, Texas, at the age of 87.

Born on June 14, 1938, in Dillon, South Carolina, William was the beloved son of the late Ira Jack Williams and Betty Williams. He was raised with strong family values and a deep sense of duty, both of which shaped his long and faithful journey through life.

William proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, an experience that instilled in him discipline, integrity, and a lifelong love for his fellow servicemen. After his service, he dedicated 33 years of his professional life to Affiliated Foods, where he was known as a diligent and trustworthy worker.

A man of quiet strength, William was deeply devoted to his late wife, Carole Ann Williams, with whom he shared a life of enduring love and partnership. Together, they raised their beloved son, Craig Williams, and passed down their legacy of faith and family to Craig and his wife Tammy Williams.

William's joy was magnified in the lives of his grandchildren: Crystal Davis and her husband Lance, Kellie Williams, Lindsay Williams, Collin Williams and his wife Phoebe. He beamed with pride when speaking of his great-grandchildren: Brandle Williams, Trinitey Williams and Rhyse Davis. His family was his treasure, and he carried each of them in his heart.

He is also survived by his loving sister, Shirley Hunt, who remained a steadfast presence in his life.

William had a passion for golf and pool, pastimes that brought him joy and friendship. Whether on the green or at the table, his warm smile and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on those around him.

A Celebration of Life and Military Honors Service will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 2:30 PM at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a well-lived life and a soul now at peace.

Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice knowing that William is now reunited with his beloved Carole, and rests in the presence of his Savior.

"Well done, good and faithful servant... enter into the joy of your Lord." — Matthew 25:21
