William "Al" Jones, 63, passed away on April 22, 2025 at his home in Vero Beach.
He was born April 26, 1961, in Boynton Beach, FL and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 59 years, coming from Tallahassee, FL.
Prior to retirement, Al worked as a plumber and previously owned AJ Fencing. Al was a devout Christian and attended Faith United Fellowship.
Al was a man who never met a stranger, a beacon of warmth and laughter whose presence could light up any room. He taught us all how to live with generosity and greet each day with a smile. He will be missed dearly, but his spirit lives on in every handshake, every shared laugh and every act of kindness.
He leaves his memories to be cherished by his brother, Kery Jones of Vero Beach and many friends and acquaintances.
A celebration of Al's life will be held at a later day.

I´m so sorry to hear this. I had called and talked to him and February. He wasn´t feeling well. Said he laid in bed for five straight days. He was gonna help me with one of my rental properties. as he always did. Always a great person always willing to help others. I had left him a few messages and didn´t hear back from him. Gave his number to a few other friends. They said the number was disconnected. I just googled and found out he had passed away probably a week after I talk to him. Very sorry to hear about this. Hearts and prayers to his family. He was always a good friend and a hard worker.

I will miss you immense. You were a part of a family who loves you. The guy who would take the shirt off his back to clothe you, Loved cooking, and Loved the water. Loved animals, Adored his Big brother...and loved his friends to the end of the earth.
My children truly Loved you and you were my closest childhood friend.
I pray you are rejoicing for all eternity!

I grew up with Al and his family on 31st Avenue and never heard William used to refer to him. Al was by far, one of the kindest people I knew growing up. He was a trend setter too and had the most beautiful hair. (Just ask Mrs Trembley, who would bobbi pin it to hold his golden locks up.)
We would catch up periodically, I wish we had done so more.
Rest in Peace my friend.
